Sustainable wine experience
The wine is locally produced in small quantities, without the use of preservatives such as sulfites. The food served alongside the wines is also locally produced, and the cantina has zero environmental impact due to its naturally constant and cool temperature year-round. Each visit supports the local economy and helps the local producer continue to pass on traditions to future generations.
Where does this experience take place?
This experience takes place in the charming village of Caposele, nestled at the beginning of the Sele Valley, in the undiscovered verdant heart of Campania. Caposele is surrounded by majestic mountains, water springs, vineyards, and groves of olive trees, giving a picturesque and peaceful atmosphere. In Caposele and the Sele Valley, you can enjoy the authentic Italian countryside and experience genuine Southern Italian hospitality. The area is known for its wild and beautiful nature and for the river Sele, which from Caposele crosses the valley to the ancient Greek city of Paestum on the Cilento Coast. The springs of the Sele River feed the world’s longest aqueduct: the Pugliese Aqueduct, one of the most extraordinary hydraulic works ever built by hand. To protect the aqueduct, Caposele was kept secret during World War II. Until 1970, this place did not appear on maps.
