The peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and occasional wildlife encounters make for a truly memorable outdoor experience, blending relaxation, fun, and adventure.
A Journey Through Time and Nature
Our adventure follows an ancient water route shaped after the last Ice Age, when massive glaciers melted and carved the beautiful lakes you’ll explore today. Viking navigators once used these waters as a passage between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. In later centuries, the frozen lakes served to transport coal and minerals. Today, the seasons continue to transform this magical landscape: in winter, the lakes freeze into a white wonderland, while in summer, their clear waters invite swimming or simply relaxing by the shore.
