Overview

The Hike & Slice is a one-of-a-kind experience that brings together the rich culinary tradition of Italian pizza-making with the breathtaking, untouched landscapes of Sweden.  This adventure combines a scenic guided hike through Swedish forest trails with an authentic Italian pizza-making workshop. A professional Italian pizza maker will show participants the art of crafting traditional Neapolitan pizza, culminating in a communal outdoor tasting surrounded by beautiful nature. This Experience is not just about hiking or pizza; it’s about connecting with nature and enjoying the simplicity and joy of food made with love, all while surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

This experience takes place in the scenic surroundings of Stockholm and the stunning Sörmland.

STOCKHOLM

Stockholm, often referred to as “the Capital of Scandinavia,” has a unique charm with its enchanting blend of nature and culture. Built on fourteen islands connected by 57 bridges, the city is surrounded by the spectacular beauty of an archipelago with thousands of islands offering both relaxation and adventure. At the same time, Stockholm boasts a rich cultural scene, featuring royal palaces, museums, and quaint cafés.

SÖRMLAND

Sörmland, near Stockholm, is often described as Sweden’s southernmost wilderness, known for its deep forests, countless lakes, and tranquil beaches. The air here is clean, the water crystal clear, and the wildlife abundant. Södermanland’s coastline boasts an impressive 3,000 islands, many of which are still untouched. Furthermore, the region is home to idyllic small towns and elegant castles surrounded by meadows and forests. Numerous nature reserves are scattered throughout the area, preserving its pristine landscapes as they have for centuries.

Outdoor enthusiasts, food lovers, and anyone seeking a unique blend of adventure, relaxation, good food, and great company.  A basic level of physical fitness is required to complete the hike.

Duration

The total duration is about 4 hours. Den totala varaktigheten är cirka fyra timmar. The hike is fairly easy (2 hours), and the pizza-making workshop and tasting will take about 2 hours.

Dates

This experience will take place on 7th September 2025 at 10:00 (Nacka Nature Reserve, Stockholm) and on 20th September 2025 at 10:00 (Nynäs Nature Reserve, Trosa – Sörmland). Contact us to book this experience, spots are limited.

• Hiking clothes according to the weather
• A bottle of water (recommended at least 0,5 liter)
• Hiking shoes or trail running shoes
