The Caposele Splash Experience offers an exhilarating river trekking adventure through one of the most enchanting stretches of the Sele River in Caposele, a picturesque village in the lush heart of Southern Italy’s Campania region. This unique outdoor activity blends the joy of hiking with the refreshing excitement of moving through water. For most of the experience, the river remains knee-deep, though in some areas it rises above one meter, creating natural pools perfect for a revitalizing dip. Ideal for beginners and outdoor enthusiasts alike, the Caposele Splash Experience is perfect for anyone looking to explore river trekking, boost their well-being, or simply enjoy a fun and invigorating escape in nature.
Relaxation & Well-Being
This experience is suitable for everyone in good health and is especially recommended for those looking to disconnect from the stress of everyday life and enhance their overall well-being. River trekking in cold, fresh water can help restore both physical and mental energy, promote relaxation, and support the healthy functioning of the immune, lymphatic, circulatory, and digestive systems. Exposure to cold water may also stimulate the body’s natural self-healing responses, potentially easing certain symptoms of many conditions and contributing to a greater sense of vitality and balance.
About Caposele
The Caposele Splash Experience unfolds along the crystal-clear waters of the Sele River in Caposele, a charming village nestled at the beginning of the Sele Valley, in the undiscovered verdant heart of Campania. Surrounded by majestic mountains, water springs, vineyards, and groves of olive trees, Caposele offers a breathtaking natural setting for this one-of-a-kind adventure. Caposele is often referred to as the “ancient kingdom of water,” thanks to the rich karst springs that give rise to the Sele River. The river from Caposele crosses the valley to the ancient Greek city of Paestum on the Cilento Coast. Furthermore, the Sele springs feed the Apulian Aqueduct, the longest in the world and a remarkable achievement of hand-built hydraulic engineering.
